Zetraxa: Engineering a Multi-Tenant ERP Platform Spanning Ten Industries

The Challenge

Growing businesses across retail, healthcare, construction, and hospitality typically end up running a point-of-sale system, an accounting package, an HR spreadsheet, and a messaging tool that never talk to each other. Off-the-shelf ERP platforms solve part of this by forcing every industry into the same generic workflow — which works passably for none of them. We set out to build a single multi-tenant platform that could genuinely serve ten different industries without stretching a one-size-fits-all template over each one.

Architecture

Zetraxa is architected as a multi-tenant cloud platform where every business (tenant) is fully data-isolated from every other — including inside its AI layer, where the RAG-based co-pilot only ever reasons over that tenant's own data. A central API gateway sits in front of the platform, powering our own mobile apps and any external integration a client needs, with real-time WhatsApp messaging running on the same infrastructure behind our Tawasol product, and two-way sync connectors for Shopify and WooCommerce keeping an online store and the operational system in agreement.

What We Built

• Core business operations: full double-entry accounting with a real chart of accounts and general ledgers, multi-currency support, a built-in CRM sharing the same sales/invoicing data, HR with attendance and payroll, project/asset management, and native installment-plan billing.
• Industry-specific systems: dedicated point-of-sale for restaurants and retail, hotel management, gym and repair-shop operations, fuel order management, a full clinical-to-financial healthcare system (EMR, clinical records, pharmacy billing) with dedicated laboratory and radiology modules, construction/project management with Bill of Quantities, a full manufacturing suite (production, warehouse, procurement, quality, scheduling, costing), and a dedicated Tourism Operations Suite with tourism-specific accounting.
• Compliance and payments: built-in e-invoicing for Egypt (ETA) and Saudi Arabia (ZATCA), real payment gateway integrations, and a multi-source rate aggregation hub for accurate, current pricing.
• Intelligence and reporting: AI-powered business intelligence with predictive insights, an instant analytics dashboard that reads existing Excel/CSV files without a migration project, and an AI writing/reporting assistant.

Outcome

The result is a platform where a sale, an invoice, a stock movement, and a customer conversation are all part of the same connected record — a business can start with a single branch and a single module, and add accounting, HR, multi-branch operations, or an entirely different industry module later, on the same system, with the same data, without a re-platforming project. Zetraxa's own licensing infrastructure now also powers our offline, on-premise products, ZADENO and DAWIRX.
